McLean Trees Committee

McLean Trees is a semiautonomous volunteer committee of the McLean Citizens Association. It raises and expends funds on its own authority. The committee is dedicated to the beautification of McLean by planting and maintaining trees and shrubs in public places. It raises its funds principally by recycling newspapers and magazines brought by citizens to its bins at a service road by Cooper Middle School on the corner of Balls Hill Road and Georgetown Pike. The bins are open every day, but Saturday morning is the best time. Read about the committee's projects.
