Palladium Near Completion
From the Connection Newspapers

July 19, 2004

The Palladium is the most eagerly anticipated new building in McLean. Construction began on the high-rise mixed use building last year and is beginning to near completion.

The Palladium offers a little bit of everything for the community and is being constructed in such a manner that it will anchor the revitalization efforts going on in downtown McLean. Waterford Development company is building the Palladium and has offered several artistic opportunities to the community through the building.

There is creative space for sale at the Palladium that the developers and community leaders would like to see patterned after The Torpedo Factory in Alexandria. Waterford is looking for a private investor steps in to take charge of the space offered for that purpose.

The Palladium features an outdoor performing arts park that has a flowing water sculpture. Officials with the Palladium have promised to host two cultural events on the common area each month.

The brick and stone facade of the Palladium will house the most exclusive condominiums in the area. The 69 condos in the Palladium range from $900,000 to $1.5 million and are fully customized.

There is also 12,500 square foot of retail space housed at the Palladium and 10,000 square feet of office space for lease.
